Embeds

We provide a variety of Omega Standard steel embeds as well as the capabilities to fabricate custom and standard embeds provided by our customers. Finishing capabilities include hot dipped galvanizing or spec primer. We also assemble your custom steel embeds with any extrusions you may be using. (See extrusion assembly)

Galvanized Brake Metal

Omega is pleased to offer our steel customers z-girt/z-furring, corner angle, hat channels and other galvanized brake shapes per request. We have fast turnaround times and competitive pricing on standard and custom z shapes as well as galvanized channels from 26GA up to ¼”. Plasma Cutting

Today’s advanced technology makes plasma cutting steel quick, affordable and easy. The benefits of plasma cutting include ease of use, higher quality cuts and faster travel speeds. Omega is pleased to offer our customers the capability to have custom cut parts via our 60” x 168” Plasma table. We are able to custom cut any type of thick plates (up to 1.25”), ornamental panels, custom designs, gussets, shear blocks, etc. in both aluminum and steel.

Reinforcing

Omega Metals has been providing reinforcing for the curtain and window wall industry since the company began. We offer custom/standard steel bar and steel plate sizes to fit the needs of your mullions. We also offer steel channel reinforcing from 16GA (thinner upon request) up to .375” thick and in any custom or standard lengths that is requested. Let us serve your reinforcing product needs.
